So finallllly got thru the material for the first time.  That doesn't include ethics which I haven't touched yet.  Just gonna lay out my brief review plan.  Any comments or advice appreciated.

 

My plan is to do all CFAI questions at the end of readings going in the order of FRA, Equity, Quant, Economics, Corp Fin, AI, FI, Derivatives, PM, then finally ethics(putting a lot of time in final week).

 

Each Sunday starting this week will do a mock exam for a total of four mocks before the test.  Work thru all missed problems. 

 

Final week Im taking off work, so that last Sunday I'm going to take the posted CFAI mock and then just work on my weak areas all week and memorize formulas.

 

That's about it.  Speaking of mocks, I think if I rely on the Schweser mocks, I'm doomed, so does anyone have copies of old Level 2 mocks?

I've been reviewing . . .I'm taking a mock exam today which will be my 2nd one. I had done one in April to see what areas I needed to focus on. I've spent April brushing up on weak areas (derivatives and fixed income mostly) and now I'm going to see whether all that work improved anything. I'm going to plan on hitting FRA hard for the next few days (already gone over equity except for emerging markets valuation) and do problems from other sections as a review. 

Having a hard time keeping all the sections fresh in my mind, hopefully really focusing this last month on all sections with doing a mock every week will help me!

Ben, I am in a similar status with you. finished frist round, doing
ethics CFAI questions for the first time now.

For mock exams, I am thinking using CFA exclusively. There are two
free ones, right? For additional, I think we can pay for it right? I
don't know if anybody did this, we can maybe share the costs, if it's
downloadable digital copy.
