extra t-shirts?

Hi, team,

I was wondering - do we have extra t-shirts left over from BTC?  if so, what do y'all think of donating them to local flood victims?  I figure it would serve an immediate need for folks and would also allow George/Sonia/whoever else to clear out their BTC storage. :)

That's a great idea. I think I have a box..and possibly George might too?!

I have shirts too. I think this is a wonderful idea. They need all the help they can get at this time. Let me know and maybe we can get together and all have lunch or dinner sometime again! I miss seeing everyone! :)

NAAO is having a special meeting tomorrow evening at 6 pm to organize a help drive.
It will be held at the AARC, if any of you are interested in attending.

Who are you donating them to and when do you need them by? I'm sure I could send a message out to everyone in the terry student association and I could have quite a few for you!

To clarify, Thursday's NAAO meeting is for the Philippines. I think Ketan is suggesting the t-shirts go to the recent (Austin) flood victims as that would be an efficient use of the extra shirts. 

The Philippines is really in need of funds, more so than clothes at the moment, and the damage is obviously incomparable. But hopefully our community can find ways to continue to help both our neighbors in Austin and our fellow human beings, and in many cases family members, in the Philippines.
Trying my best to free up to attend the NAAO mtg on Thursday.

Sounds like an excellent idea.  I don't have any left over Tshirts, but I found 2 in the moving process that are BTC shirts that are extra large that I have no use for that I can bring too.

Hi! All,

I went to volunteer at bluff springs yesterday and talked to Richard about the tshirts (I had my box with me). It looks like bluff springs and dove springs have enough clothing donations...the truth is they need a lot of help sorting through the overwhelming amount of donations so the community can start taking what they need. 

So we can hold onto the shirts for now. 

If anyone wants to help with clean up and sorting there will be another effort this coming weekend. I'll send out details as I receive them.
