Please pray for the World and America & California…
- Please pray for the upcoming Presidential Election.
- Please pray for CALIFORNIA! Please pray for our Governor! Pray for the
SPIRITUAL and the worsen budget crisis!
- Please continue praying for God’s mercy on our States…as the Court has overturned the Proposition 8! Please pray as the battles will go on.
- Please continue to pray for our President as he leads this country!
- Please continue praying for the weaken US economy. Pray for divine protection on brothers and sisters’ jobs and businesses.Pray for those who are looking for jobs.
Pray for Mission

Pray for Our Church
Prayer Focus: (08/22/2011): College and Young Adult Ministry (Pastor Warrick)
Please join our hearts together to pray…
- Pray that we would be able to have a consistent group of college/young adult students that meet regularly throughout the entire year.
- Pray that we would be able to build up a critical mass in this ministry.
- Pray that we would be able to outreach to non-believers in the local college campuses
- Pray for all the students who are discerning what to do after college.
- Pray for all students entering college that they would be able to find a good spiritual home and maintain a good relationship with God
Prayer Focus: Joint Service/ Senior Pastor Installation (Installation Committee)
- Pray that brothers and sisters would focus on worship our God TOGETHER as a Church in the Joint Service.
- Pray for all the persons who will be serving in the Joint Service.
- And let’s come together to follow God’s guidance for the new chapter of SVAC.
- Pray that everything would be smooth especially between the tight time after the Joint Worship and the lunch.
- Pray for the planning committee as they finalizing on the details.

Outreach:
- Line Dance: Please pray for the 2 new ways we will be trying to close in to this group of people. Please continue praying for our Monthly Line Dance Fellowship is this Saturday (August 18). Please pray as we are trying to gradually trying to incorporate all the Saturday Morning Outreach activities into this Fellowship. Please continue praying for our Computer Class as we try to close in to the non believers God brought to us.
- Please pray for our Outreach ESL class. Pray that we will be able to reach these students with the Gospel. New Quarter will start in September.
- Restaurant Fellowship—Pray that God will continue encourage and motivate these brothers and sisters to serve in this very challenging ministry! Pray that our own brothers and sisters would gradually involve in this ministry!
- Pray for Alpha Ministry. Alpha dinner was on 8/18 Sat. and Alpha course starts 8/31 Fri. Pray that God will add to the number of people saved through this ministry.
Church Ministry Needs:
- Please pray for Divine Protection on our Staff and their families!
- Please pray for God’s guidance in the Mandarin Ministry.
- Pray for our Board members and departmental heads! Please pray that God will use them mightily to serve His church. Pray for divine protection upon our board members and pastoral staff’s health, spiritual lives, family and marriage.
- Please pray for wisdom for the English Ministry Team (EMT) as this team seeks to serve our English Congregation.
- Please pray that God would raise up more teachers to teach and more students to attend the English, Sunday School classes
PRAY FOR OUR CONGREGATIONAL NEEDS
- Pray for those who are in Theological Training and those who are seeking God’s guidance in Full time ministry.
- Pray for those who are seeking for jobs.
- Pray for God’s protection on marriages and Families.

PRAY FOR Grace of God Alliance Church
- The GGAC Board - clear guidance from God, wisdom and energy.
- Pray that God would motivate more brothers and sisters to serve.
- Please pray for the Spiritual health of brothers and sisters!
SPECIAL NEEDS:
Please pray for Healing upon:
There are many among us who are coping with different kind of pain and sickness, please remember to include those you know in your prayers.
- Praise the Lord, Ivy (Bill) Wong‘s (Bethel) older sister’s daughter-in-law Debbie, (i.e. her neice-in-law) was baptized this past Sunday (8/19). Please continue praying for Debbie has been diagnosed with liver cancer, both left & right sides have tumors. And the latest update was that the cancer has spread to Debbie’s bone. Debbie is only 41 years old and she has 2 girls ages 5 & 7. They live in Utah. Please pray for wisdom in deciding what treatments to take after hearing what the oncologists have to offer.
- Please pray for Ed Yum’s (Bethel) sister in law, the wife of his 3rd brother, who has been diagnosed with cancer. Please pray for healing and her salvation.
- Please keep praying for Lisa's (Peter) Ting (Canaan) aunt's 5th daugther, Angel Lai, 14 yrs old who is a very good Christian. She has been fighting her ovarian cancer. Please pray for this young little girl that our Lord would heal her and that our Lord would lessen her pain and discomfort.
- Please pray for Philip (Rebecca) Leung (Elijah). Philip started his treatment for cancer. Pray for strength and pray for divine healing.
- Please pray for Monica Loo (Bethel), she has been having this excruciating pains in her knees and some joints. Praise the Lord, she is back from Hong Kong with a clearer picture of her condition. Pray that God would sustain her to have strength, emotionally and spiritually to endure during this difficult time.
- Please pray for divine healing upon the mother of a family in the English Congregation, Joey (Andrew) Lai (EC). Joey's mother has cancer and it has spread to her liver. Please pray...the family needs us to stand with them.
- Continue to pray for Alice Ng (Jabbok)’s sister-in-law, Ester. She’s out of the hospital due to her tonsil cancer and she’s able to eat now. Praise the Lord! Continue to pray for healing and strength.
- Cecilia Wong’s friend, Lancy – She’s a Christian and married with 1 teenage kid. Pray for healing upon her insomnia and her stomach issue. She came to SVAC a few times.
