Please pray for the World and America & California…

1. Please pray for the upcoming Presidential Election.
2. Please pray for CALIFORNIA!  Please pray for our Governor! Pray for the

SPIRITUAL and the worsen budget crisis!

3. Please continue to pray for our President as he leads this country!
4. Please continue praying for the weaken US economy. 
5. Pray for divine protection on brothers and sisters’ jobs and businesses.Pray for those who are looking for jobs.

 Pray for Mission

1. Rev. & Mrs. Brett, Celine Bower (Amelie & Aidan).  Please continue praying for them as they start their mission in Paris.(Sign up to pray:  theb...@svac-cma.org).  Pastor Brett will be in the Bay Area this Wednesday through Saturday (Sept 26-29).
2. Rev. Tenny and Stephanie Hong (Gaius & Crispus)!  Please continue praying for their ministry!  (Sign up to pray: Tenny...@gmail.com)

Pray for Our Church

Prayer Focus: (09/26/2012): Board Members

1. Please pray for protection on each and every one of our Board Members: Bill Chang, Julius Chew, Helen Miguel, Gibson Lam, James Lee, Danton Leung, Vivian Wong, Sandra Yau, Ed Yum.
2. Thank God for this board.  God has used this board to smoothly guarding us through the very crucial transition of SVAC.
3. Pray for their families.  The last 2 years have been extra busy for them.  Thank God for their supports.  Pray that God would strengthen them and bless them.
4. Pray that God would continue to use this leadership team to lead SVAC!

Please join our hearts together to pray… for the Nomination Process for 2013

1.    Please pray for the newly elected Nominating Committee members: Grace Yip (CS1); Albert Wong (ES) and Kevin Ng (CS2).

2.    Pray that God would use the committee to identify those who will be serving in 2013.

3.    Pray that brothers and sisters would prayerfully consider stepping up to serve as board members and department heads.

 

 

 

Please join our hearts together to pray… for the Alpha Course (begins on 8/31)

1. Praise the Lord, over 40+ people has come to the Alpha course.   Pray that the Spirit will speak to the non-believers and lead them to Christ.  Pray for divine protection on the decisions of these people.
2. Pray for strength and unity among the Alpha team members
3. Pray for spiritual protection and victory in this spiritual warfare as we making headway to bring people to Christ
4. Pray that the name of Jesus will be exalted and known to many people through this ministry.

Outreach:

1. Line Dance: Please pray for the 2 new ways we try to close in to this group of people.  Please continue praying for our Monthly Line Dance Fellowship on the 3^rd Saturday as we are trying to reach out to the line dancers.  Please pray as we are trying to gradually incorporate all the Saturday Morning Outreach activities into this Fellowship.  Please continue praying for our Computer Class as we will have a graduation celebration this coming Saturday with the Line Dance Fellowship.
2. Please pray for our Outreach ESL class.  Pray that we will be able to reach these students with the Gospel..
3. Restaurant Fellowship—Pray that God will continue encourage and motivate these brothers and sisters to serve in this very challenging ministry!  Pray that our own brothers and sisters would gradually involve in this ministry!

 

 Church Ministry Needs:

1. Please pray for the Pastoral Search for a Cantonese Pastor!
2. Please pray for Divine Protection on our Staff and their families!
3. Please pray for God’s guidance in the Mandarin Ministry.
4. Pray for our Board members and departmental heads!   Please pray that God will use them mightily to serve His church.   Pray for divine protection upon our board members and pastoral staff’s health, spiritual lives, family and marriage.
5. Please pray for wisdom for the English Ministry Team (EMT) as this team seeks to serve our English Congregation.
6. Please pray that God would raise up more teachers to teach and more students to attend the English, Sunday School classes

 

 PRAY FOR OUR CONGREGATIONAL NEEDS

1. Pray for those who are in Theological Training and those who are seeking God’s guidance in Full time ministry.
2. Pray for those who are seeking for jobs.
3. Pray for God’s protection on marriages and Families.
4. Proud Parents: We thank the Lord, Cathy (Warrick) Leung (Pastoral Staff) gave birth to a healthy baby boy on September 19.  Baby Tyler Owen Leung weighed 6 lbs 13 ozs and was 18.25 inches in length at birth.  Both mother and baby are doing extremely well.
5. Expecting Parents:

 PRAY FOR Grace of God Alliance Church

1. The GGAC Board - clear guidance from God, wisdom and energy.
2. Pray that God would motivate more brothers and sisters to serve.
3. Please pray for the Spiritual health of brothers and sisters!

 

SPECIAL NEEDS:

Please pray for Healing upon:

There are many among us who are coping with different kind of pain and sickness, please remember to include those you know in your prayers.

1. Please pray for Lap-Yun (Sandra) Yau’s (Canaan) mother.  She is in a critical condition.  Please pray her.  Praise the Lord, she is a believer and she is 90 years old.  Pray that God would strengthen her and lessen her pain.
2. Pray also for Mr. & Mrs. Tat畢培基夫婦 (Elijah).  Both Mr. & Mrs. Tat are very weak.  And they are having difficulty walking stably.  Please pray for them.
3. Please continue praying for Pastor Warrick (Cathy) Leung’s father,  Philip (Rebecca) Leung (Elijah).  Philip’s condition is stable and he was transferred to a nursing facility.  Please pray that he would gain strength so further treatment for his cancer could be administrated.    Please keep this family in your prayers.  Pray for strength and pray for divine healing.  Pray especially for Pastor Warrick (Cathy) Leung’s mother, Rebecca, that she would have the strength during this time.  Pray also for Pastor Warrick (Cathy) Leung’s brother and sister-in-law who are here with the family from Massachusetts.  Pray also for Pastor Warrick and Cathy that they would be able to deal with all the things going on.  Cathy is due to go into labor in the coming few weeks so they could go without the additional stress.
4. Please pray for Christine (Daniel) Yip’s (Lighthouse) mother.  She is diagnosed to have stage 4 cancer and she has started chemo treatment.  Please pray for God’s healing upon her and pray that God would sustain the family.  Christine’s mother attends the West Valley Alliance Church.
5. Please continue praying for Ivy (Bill) Wong‘s (Bethel) older sister’s daughter-in-law Debbie, (i.e. her neice-in-law).  Debbie has been diagnosed with liver cancer, both left & right sides have tumors. And the latest update was that the cancer has spread to Debbie’s bone. Debbie is only 41 years old and she has 2 girls ages 5 & 7. They live in Utah.
6. Please pray for Ed Yum’s (Bethel) sister in law, the wife of his 3^rd brother, who has been diagnosed with cancer.  Please pray for healing and her salvation.
7. Please keep praying for Lisa's (Peter) Ting (Canaan) aunt's 5th daugther, Angel Lai, 14 yrs old who is a very good Christian.   She has been fighting her ovarian cancer.  Please pray for this young little girl that our Lord would heal her and that our Lord would lessen her pain and discomfort.
8. Please pray for Monica Loo (Bethel), she has been having this excruciating pains in her knees and some joints.  Pray that God would sustain her to have strength, emotionally and spiritually to endure during this difficult time.
9. Please pray for divine healing upon the mother of a family in the English Congregation, Joey (Andrew) Lai (EC).  Joey's mother has cancer and it has spread to her liver.  Please pray...the family needs us to stand with them.
10. Continue to pray for Alice Ng (Jabbok)’s sister-in-law, Esther as she continues to recover from her tonsil cancer! Please continue praying for healing and strength.
11. Cecilia Wong’s friend, Lancy – She’s a Christian and married with 1 teenage kid. Pray for healing upon her insomnia and her stomach issue.
