尊敬的各位华夏分校校长，

 

华夏的保险公司要求华夏中文学校建立

PHYSICAL OR MENTAL ABUSE AND SEXUAL ABUSE AND SEXUAL MOLESTAITON PREVENTION POLICY

 

根据要求华夏总校起草了相关文件。

 

华夏和各分校立即和每年要做的是：

Notes to Huaxia Chinese School branch principals:

 

Each Huaxia Chinese School branch should communicate with its employees and volunteers about this policy.  All employees and volunteers are required to document in writing that they have received it, read it, have been given adequate training and agree to abide by the policy. All existing and newly hired staff members should sign the this acknowledgement on an annual basis.  The written acknowledgement should be maintained with other important business record in each Huaxia Chinese School branch.

 

Each Huaxia Chinese School branch should have adequate background check of existing and prospective employees and staff members.  The background check could include but is not limited to conducting interviews and requesting references.

 

 

请参加总校保险计划的各分校， 立即向分校的教师， 校务人员， 成人和学生志愿者传达这个POLICY的内容， 和要求他们签字。建议自此每年秋季开学时和招聘新教师等人员时， 要求其在此文件签字。签字的文件由各分校保存。

尊敬的华夏各分校校长，

 

提醒参加总校保险的学校这个周末前把学校TAXID等信息送总校pres...@hxcs.org 用于总校和保险公司讨论问题。同时一个新的问题需要参加保险的分校参与意见。

 

在4/6校长/总校/董事会联合会议上讲过，保险(附上coverage page)其中一项是abuse and molestation. 按保险公司要求总校作了上面通知里的事项。现保险公司另有一项硬性要求：

 

"Conduct criminal background screenings prior to employment on all employees and contracted staff and volunteers."  如果不履行，abuse and molestation 的保项将被去掉。保险公司同时提供了background screening services 信息，$10-13/person.  请各分校建议决定：

1。按保险公司要求 conduct background screening;

2。 取消该保项。

 

请分校把你们的建议在4/30前交给王坚pres...@hxcs.org
