Dear all,

On the instruction from the AR(HR), I wish to bring to your attention that the Library Committee Meeting that was scheduled for  Monday 22nd July has been postponed because HODs and their deputies will attend an Academic  Leadership Workshop but will now take place on Wednesday 24 July 2014 from 12:30 p.m.  Venue remains Histopathology Conference Room.

Comsu President, take note that it is you and one representative to attend this meeting.  Mr. Langisi is an MPH representative while Mr. Kaswaswa is PhD representative.

On Monday afternoon, I will send the agenda but items for the agenda are still welcome before middays Monday.

We hope that Heads will avail themselves to attend this meeting on Wednesday 24 July 2013.  If not, your representation will be appreciated.

I take it that we are meeting on Monday at 11.30 am because so far no one except head of Physio has expressed discomfort with that time. I will also attend the Academic leadership workshop at Malawi Sun but will show up at Histopathology at 11.30 am for the one hour library meeting. Through you chair,  I would propose that those HODs who would want to stick up with the Academic leadership workshop only should send a department rep to the library committee.

We will need the student reps at this meeting. You could liaise with the office of the Dean of Students to make sure that the students are represented. I would propose that if the key students are away from Blantyre, they could be represented by their COMSU colleagues who could be in Blantyre by the said date.
