Auction in downtown Boston to support an innovative MIT affliated non-
profit..
Smallbean is an innovative organization that is creating Citizen
Archivist Projects using refurbished electronics. They provide a solar
powered computer lab and provide technical education to African
villagers so that can document their own lives. This is especially
important given the number of disappearing languages in Afrida.
They are raising funds for their summer work with the Kenya National
Library Services, where they'll documenting village life.
The event will have free Italian Tapas at the Ivy restaurant near
downtown crossing.
