Help needed for Christmas Community Lunch on 12/25 Wed.

Hi ES congregation,

 

We still need a lot more helpers in various areas (see below).  If you can, please come and join us on Christmas Day.  If you can't, it's ok and please take some time to pray for the event.  We'll need as much prayer warriors as helpers.  So wherever you'll be on Christmas Day, please pray for us.  You can still sign up online.  Thanks again for partnering with us in reaching out to our community during this Christmas season.

Please find below the updated sign-up status.

Considering that this is the travel season, the participation level is very good!

God has definitely done some amazing work in our hearts!

And we are definitely following Jesus' example in getting out of the comfort zone to bring love to the world!

I feel deeply touched when I see the willingness of brothers and sisters to serve the people in need.

We seem to have enough people for Food and Drink Serving and Food Preparation.

However, we still need more people in the areas of Ushers, Table Hosts, Prayer Team, and Clean Up Crew.

Please encourage your fellowship's brothers and sisters one more time to step up and join this ministry team!

(1) To participate and/or contribute to the Christmas Day lunch for the Community, please

a. Go to the church website http://www.svac-cma.org/index.html.
b. Log in as "svac" "member".
c. Select the "12/25 Helpers Sign Up" item on the "Upcoming Events" tab.
d. Fill in the form and hit submit button.

Notes:
a. Please note that we requires age of 18 or older to be able to participate as helper on 12/25 for safety reason
b. We also welcome monetary donation. Payable to SVAC. Memo: 12/25 Community Outreach.

(2) To participate in the Community Walk:

a. Community Walk in the Milpitas neighborhood to pass out flyers and to make personal contact to the residents.
b. Dates: 12/14 (Sat) and 12/15 (Sun)
c. Time: 2-4pm.
d. Please contact Pastor Clement or Julius Chew or Fred Au.

Finally, please pray for this event, that God will bring about transformation to the neighborhood and to our church through the event!
