It's a little tricky, so let me explain, and I will be happy to go over all the details tonight at Berry Park. For those that do not know, Berry Park is located right off of the field, right behind Automotive High and McCarren's tennis courts. Be there at 8, gorgeous Bavarian style place with a kickin' rooftop.
We have 3 Divisions for the initial rounds, named after baseball legends Rod Carew, Ichiro, and Jackie Robinson. The first 2 have 4 teams, while Robinson has 5, so teams in Robinson will play one more game each.
Everyone plays each other in their respective division once. We start at Noon, sharp, and one game begins when another ends. Mostly, teams in each division stick to one field, for instance, everyone in the Rod Carew division plays on the Main, Ichiro teams play on the Monster, and Jackie Robinson teams plays mostly in the Outhouse, except after slot 6. One team from Carew and Ichiro will advance to the Semis, while 2 from Robinson will go.
In case of a tie, we will keep track of runs. The team with the best run differential will advance in the case of a tie.
Once we get tot he Semis, every team will play each other once. The top two teams will advance to the Semis, and the Finals are 9 innings.
