Allison proposed 2 pm on Tuesday at the Foundry for the run through. Would everyone be ok w/ 2:30 instead...a couple of us have a conflict at 2:00?

Here's the final script incorporating everyone's edits. Please disregard the old versions so they don't get mixed up. Allison will send this to Robin Wilhoit this afternoon. If you have significant changes or additions of people we are recognizing for each property, please let us know by Tuesday.

Thanks all for your hard work - Betsy

Public Defender's Office should be called The Knox County Public Defender's Community Law Office
Sorry I didn't catch this before.

Robin

ORCHID 2

The second award of the evening goes to The Public Defender’s Office, located at 1101 Liberty Street. This is a building that stands for peace, liberty and justice; and now it can add beauty to the list!

[Cue representatives to stand, applause, cue one representative to come to the stage.]

This landmark, created for the city and county by Sparkman and Associates, Garry Menendez, and the vision of Knox County’s Public Defender - Mark Stephens – is a beautiful example of what a public building can be. Celebrating its twentieth anniversary, The Community Law Office does much more than just provide legal assistance…they also assist with social services, community outreach, and education.
