About the start-up: We are Weird Logics Pvt. Ltd, an IT startup based
in Gurgaon and are currently dealing in iOS applications. Our forte is
iPad apps for the hospitality industry. Please refer to the attached
write-up for some more info about us.
We are looking for 2 people to join us. Detailed requirement as below:
1) Developer
Ideal Candidate will be responsible for:
• Obtaining in-depth understanding of design and implementation of
existing software product
• Design, implement and deliver new features required in the product
as per deadlines
• Applying innovation and creativity in design and implementation of features
• Resolve issues observed during testing and usage of the product
• Document code consistently throughout the development process,
perform thorough testing and take ownership
• Follow the processes defined by the tech lead and the organization
We are looking for someone who enjoys and can responsibly handle work
from beginning to end, from gathering of requirements, design and
implementation, to launch and support.
Required Experience and Skills:-
• Bachelor’s degree – preferably in computer science or a similar
degree or an MCA/ MSc.
• 1-3 years of work experience developing software using LAMP (Linux,
Apache, MySQL, PHP)
• Strong OO design and coding skills in Java.
• Expert in Java web application development. Specific knowledge of
Apache Tomcat, Spring, XML processing, Hibernate, Maven, HTML, CSS
technologies would be required.
• Expert in Web Services technologies and server side development.
• Expert in building scalable systems using concurrency,
multi-threading, replication, RMI etc.
• Expert in relational databases such as MySQL.
• Experienced in writing Bash scripts for deployment on Linux servers.
• Must have knowledge about network technologies and protocols.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks like jQuery is preferable.
• Must have worked with Eclipse development IDE.
• Comfortable with software development and release on Linux and
Windows platforms.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and agile development environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Effective problem
solving skills, sharp reasoning and a logical bent of mind.
• Demonstrated passion about technology, have a strong interest in
learning about and playing with the latest technologies.
2) We need a graphics designer who is experienced in designing User
interfaces for mobile applications (iphone/ipad)
