Hi,

Deutsche CIB Centre is organizing a workshop on Global Markets & Corporate Finance for final year B.Tech and Dual Degree students of IIT Delhi.

 

The workshop would be conducted by Mr. Rajesh Tolani (Director, CIB Centre) and Mr. Sidharth Chaturvedi (Vice-President, CIB Centre) and will broadly cover the following topics:

 

1.     Introduction to Investment Banking – What banks do, how they solve problems, typical work done by traders

2.     Basic Financial Products – Fixed income, foreign exchange, equities, commodities and derivatives

3.     Algorithmic Trading – What is it, building blocks, trading strategies and challenges

4.     Introduction to Corporate Finance – Overview, corporate finance structure, typical work done by analysts

                                             

Registration will be on a first-come-first-served basis, for the first 150 applicants. Attendance is compulsory for all those who are selected for the workshop. Registration opens on the TnP portal at 5:00 PM on Monday, 10th Sep, 2012 and closes at 11:59 PM on Wednesday, 12th Sep 2012.
