Applications are invited for the following posts:
Creative Writing & Outreach Chief Editors (1)
Be responsible for end-to-end collection, compilation and publication of all creative writing magazines
Web Chief Editor (1)
Maintains and updates BSP’s website with latest online versions of the newsletters, magazines & journals
Media Chief Editor (1)
Manages videographic or photographic recording, editing & sharing of important events in the institute like guest lectures, panel discussion, technical seminar or conference etc.
Technical Editors
Must learn at least one skill among designing, web editing or media editing, if not proficient in it already at time of selection to work efficiently with the technical committee
Journalist
Collects creative and journalistic pieces of writing from hostel residents’and writes journalistic articles while reporting on relevant issues

The Selection procedure will be as follows:
a) Selection of Chief Editors
(i) Deadline for application submission – 8th April 2013 by 5:00 PM
(ii) Review & Verification of application by Outgoing Chief Editors and General Secretary respectively
(iii) Shortlist and Interviews by Faculty panel of odd-number of professors – 12th April 2013, 6:30PM
b) Selection of Technical editors and Journalists
(i) Deadline for application submission – 8th April 2013 by 5:00 PM
(ii) Review and Verification of applications by Outgoing Chief Editors
(iii) Shortlisting and Interviews by Incoming Chief Editors of Technical Committee in case of Technical Editors and of Content Creation Committee for Journalists. – 12th April 2013, 6:30 PM
Eligibility Criteria:
Chief Editors: Outgoing 2nd year or 3rd year (dual only) UG student or any non-graduating PG or PhD student. No final year students.
Technical Editors and Journalists: Outgoing 1st year UG students or any non-graduating PG or PhD student.
A minimum CGPA of 7 is required for application to any of the above posts. The student should not be under any kind of academic probation.
Note: Application forms and questionnaire are attached alongside and hard copies of the same can also be collected from the SAC office.
