Dear Students,

The class committee meetings in the ME dept will be held as follows :

3rd year ME1 + ME2 : Sep 13, 2011 (Tuesday), 5.00 p.m.
4th year ME1 + ME2 : Sep 13, 2011, 5.45 p.m.


ALl the class convenors and class representatives are requested to attend.
Other students of the class are also welcome to attend.

All the class convenors are requested to do the following before coming to
the meeting:

Discuss with your class what electives you would like to be floated with
the preferred slots and bring the data to the class committee meeting. We
need the data in the following form : ALl the students of the class must
indicate their I, II and III preference of DEs. This means we need the
following list :
Name of the student  I preference DEs   II Pref DEs   III pref DEs

 This will enable us to decide which courses should get preference over
others. Finally, courses to be floated will also be constrained by
faculty availability.

Since we have not had a meeting to discuss the curriculum review with the
present 4th year ME2 batch, after the class committee meeting, we would
like to have that discussion with 2008 entry ME2 batch. SO,this class
should prepare the relevant points for a meaningful discussion.


ALl the class convenors are requested to forward this mail to the google
group and also to make sure that the class reps attend the meeting.
