Notification on Shutdown of LAN Services

[Issued by the Student Affairs Council]

The administration has agreed, in principle, to restart the LAN services during the daytime. The final decision will be taken in the SAC meeting on September 19, 2011.

However, by continuing to use the services, the students will be expected to adhere to the IITD IT Usage Policy & Privacy Policy.

SAC organized a discussion forum inviting opinions of all students on this matter. The forum also details the history and reasons of this resolution, as proposed by the admin.

We request the student body to voice their views on this forum (https://forums.iitd.ernet.in/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=25).
