IMeche launches- Speak out for Engineering (SOFE)

The newly formed ImechE IIT Delhi chapter proudly announces its first official event ‘Speak Out for Engineering’ (SOFE)- an international paper presentation competition scheduled on 6^th November.

 

What the Competition is ?

 The competition promotes effective communication of Mechanical engineering subjects

·      The Competitors (in teams of maximum 2) are required to prepare a written synopsis of 400 words maximum- on any engineering challenge or innovation

·      The shortlisted Candidates are required to give an oral presentation of their synopsis to the judging panel.

 

 

How Does it Work ?

·      The north zone round of the competition is being held at IIT Delhi. IIT Kharagpur, Chennai and Bombay will stage other zonal rounds of the competition

·      Shortlisted candidates make a final pitch at the national event at IIT Kharagpur

·      National winners would represent India at the international stage.

 

Prizes

·      Total prizes worth £500 to be distributed

·      Certificates for 1^st Prize and 2^nd Prize winners as well as other competitors
