Dear All,
We at B-ABLE are keen about hiring graduates and students for winter internships as well as summer internships for both undergraduates (2nd year, 3rd year and pre final year students) and postgraduates from IIT. We are not restricting ourselves to any specific department. The procedure for applying has been listed below in the mail.
I would like to give a brief introduction about our organization, BASIX Academy for Building Lifelong Employability Ltd. (B-ABLE), which is working in the area of integrated Skill Building of the less educated and under-employed youth by training them on market linked technical and life skills through short-term programs (3-6 months typically). We provide holistic market-led training by partnering and engaging with industry at different levels for providing quality training (curriculum development, training of trainers, apprenticeships, on-the-job-training etc.).
We are a new subsidiary of BASIX group and have been structured as a social enterprise for promoting livelihoods through skills. BASIX has been promoting livelihoods for the last 15 years by providing micro-credit, micro-insurance, agri-business development, institutional support and other services with a presence in about 39,000 villages spread across 20 states. Its customer base of about 2.5 million is served by about 10,000 full time staff. We were the first beneficiaries of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) loan funding.
B-ABLE is backed by a strong management team and individuals from reputed institutions like IIMs, IITs and ISB.

We realise the potential IIT students have and the changes they can bring about in any organization. At the same time, we also wish to educate students about the social sector and offer them the chance to make real difference by fighting one of the biggest problems in Indian society - Unemployment.
We are attaching a Internship description document for your reference that throws light on the kind of projects one can expect while working with us.
The procedure for applying is as follows:
(1) Go to http://www.b-able.in/apply.php.
(2) Enter Name, Contact No., Email.
(3) Scroll down to select "Summer Internship" or "Winter Internship" in the column of 'Position Applying for'.
(Those interested in both summer and winter interships should apply seperately)
(4) Fill the 'Resume Format' form attached with this mail. Rename it as <Institute Name_Name_Degree> and upload in the space
provided for uploading CV. (No need to send any other resume)
(5) Complete your application by clicking on 'SUBMIT'.
Note: Students who are eligible to sit in the official training program of the campuses we are visiting should apply through their campus training and placement cell only.
