                  AAVISHKAR- ‘EK NAYE BHARAT KI KALPANA’

On the battle field of our own country, ShARE-IITD wages war against the prevailing electrification status and predicament. It launches AAVISHKAR-‘EK NAYE BHARAT KI KALPANA, the search for the most innovative and socially conscious soldier.

 

The field shall be on fire from September, 30^th when IITD and IITB students face the challenge of innovating new ideas with limited sources.

 

 

Rules of the battle:

The participants face 2 rounds of tough challenge:

 

Round 1  (Online) :

In the first phase of this event, from Oct 6th to Oct 25th, a PDF based on the ‘Energy crisis’ in Rural India with all the facts shall be floated . It can be downloaded under the tab with the same name. The candidates are required to come up with a solution to the problem enlisted in the PDF in the form of technological details in a preset format or Template. All entries received during Round 1 will be judged by the Global team of ShARE.

Round 2

In the second phase of this battle, the 5 finalist teams give a 10 minute presentation before the Global ShARE President on Skype. The best and the socially and technologically feasible model will be selected.

 

 

Deadlines:

 

Registration will be open from Sept 30th to Oct 6th (Midnight).

Note: Registration takes only 5minutes and does not require the participants to submit their presentation right away.

Presentation submission deadline for Round 1 is Oct 20, 2011 .

 

 

 

Round-2 will take place in the week following that (details will be given after Round-1 selection.)

 

The Winner and 1^st runners up will be announced on November 10th-, and they will be invited to ShARE world seminar 2011 in Bangalore (to be held in December end).
