Hello,

Here is the link to the VLSI design software we use in our lab. It is microwind 3.It includes the schematic software "DSCH 3" and also the layout design software "Microwind 3.1"
The download file is 5.9 MB in .zip format.
http://microwind.net/downloads/MW31%20Lite%20Setup.exe

Please note this is the LITE version. The ones we use in college are FULL versions.
To have a look at what you'd miss in the lite version head over to:  http://microwind.net/Lite%20Features.htm

P.S: This software works beautifully with wine also!

Hello

There is one glitch in this software.
The Dsch3 will give some of us an error saying "symbol not in directory"
If you are getting this error and are not able to drag and drop symbols you'll have to do the following change:
go to Edit->Properties
The "Home Directory" field will read:
C:\Program Files\MICROWIND Lite\DSCH\System
Change it to
C:\Program Files\MICROWIND Lite\DSCH

That's it!! It should be working now!
