Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Architect with extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise VMware Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), NSX-T, vSAN Lifecycle Manager (vLCM), VMware Live Recovery (VLR/SRM), vRealize Operations (vROps), VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC), and automation technologies.
This role will support mission-critical banking infrastructure by delivering secure, highly available, and compliant virtualization platforms for enterprise workloads.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of VMware infrastructure experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise with:
- VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
- VMware vSphere
- ESXi
- vCenter
- SDDC Manager
- vSAN
- NSX-T
- vRealize Operations (vROps)
- vSAN Lifecycle Manager (vLCM)
- VMware Live Recovery (VLR/SRM)
- Experience with VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC) and hybrid cloud environments.
- Expertise in disaster recovery planning, failover, and business continuity.
- Experience implementing Zero Trust security and micro-segmentation using NSX-T.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise storage and networking.
- Automation experience using:
- PowerCLI
- Python
- Ansible
- Terraform
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience working in regulated environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) infrastructure.
- Deploy and manage enterprise SDDC platforms.
- Design NSX-T networking including routing, DFW, load balancing, and micro-segmentation.
- Manage lifecycle upgrades and compliance using vLCM.
- Implement VMware Live Recovery (SRM/DRaaS) for disaster recovery.
- Configure and support VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC).
- Build vROps dashboards for monitoring, analytics, and capacity planning.
- Ensure infrastructure meets high availability and disaster recovery requirements.
- Work with security teams to implement regulatory compliance.
- Automate infrastructure operations using PowerCLI, Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Participate in architecture reviews and change management.
- Create operational documentation and DR runbooks.
- Mentor infrastructure engineering teams.
