Role: SAP ABAP with BTP experience
Location: Marlboro, MA
Responsibilities:
• Should be able work independently on the Design, Build, Test and support activities.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business processes and design integration solutions seamlessly.
• Exposure to Agile and other structured implementation methodologies.
• Must be able to perform RCA of any re-occurring or critical issues and proposing solutions for them.
• Performs Unit, System and Integration testing at the various phases of the project lifecycle and document the results of the testing process.
Required Skills:
SAP ABAP & SAP BTP
1. Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development within a cloud environment.
2. Extensive experience in SAP ABAP development, with a focus on SAP BTP.
3. Strong knowledge of SAP BTP services and cloud-native development principles.
4. Leverage cloud-native development principles for ABAP within the SAP BTP environment.
5. Design and implement scalable and resilient ABAP solutions that align with cloud architecture best practices.
6. Optimize ABAP code for performance, ensuring efficient execution within the SAP BTP landscape.
7. Conduct performance tuning activities and implement enhancements for better system responsiveness.
8. Ensure proper utilization of SAP BTP capabilities such as SAP HANA, SAP Fiori, and other relevant services.
Development & Technical Skills:
1. Strong development and debugging skills.
2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Testing & Support:
• Performs Unit, System and Integration testing at the various phases of the project lifecycle and document the results of the testing process.
• Must be able to perform RCA of any re-occurring or critical issues and proposing solutions for them.
Collaboration & Delivery
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business processes and design integration solutions seamlessly.
• Should be able to work independently as well as team player and conversant in working with onsite / offshore model.

Good to Have:
• Relevant certifications in SAP BTP and ABAP development are a plus.
• Exposure to Agile and other structured implementation methodologies.
• Prior experience in customer-facing roles will be an added advantage.
• Understanding of SAP security and authorization concepts.
