The Microsoft DreamSpark Yatra organized by the Student Chapter of Kerala Microsoft User Group is to be held at Rajagiri School of Engineeering and Technology , Kakkanad, Kochi on 2nd of April 2011. This is a Microsoft India initiative empowering students who are passionate about technology to get an insightful overview of the current trends in the software industry. It’s a half day session which highlights about the latest technologies, software’s and other Microsoft academic programs for students, all free of cost.
Dedicated sessions for the emerging Cloud Computing technology will be taken by Mr. Satish Sangameswaran. He is the Head of Student Outreach Programs, for the Developer & Platform Evangelism group at Microsoft India.
The various other sessions cover mind intriguing topics such as Windows Phone 7 App development using Visual Studio 2010 and Windows Phone Emulator, Windows Programming – Some strategies to build a career and many more.
The Yatra covers more than 100 cities in India. Microsoft DreamSpark is available to all students whose studies touch on technology, design, math, science and engineering; as well as student technology hobbyists keen on pursuing a career in the field. All attendees are given a participation certificate from Microsoft and a DreamSpark Key which allows them to download many genuine Microsoft Professional Software’s absolutely free of cost. Also lots of surprise, gifts and Microsoft goodies awaits them there!
