i want to paint the plastic heel on a nike stab.

i know nothing of painting plastic.

advice/ suggestions?

I will be honest with you, with all the shoes I've done painting the sole is not the b est idea. I've tried a bunch of different paints and shit and it just won't stay. a good plastic primer and a good lacquer are essential imo as
obviously a shoe goes through more scrapes that a car dash.
