Pat Bailey - the lady on the cover of "More Specials"

I cannot be the only one who gets rather annoyed when people claim this was Rhoda Dakar?

Anyway, the lady in question is Pat Bailey and here is Pat pictured with the cover yesterday. 

If anyone is interested, Pat is interviewed in the upcoming Issue 9 of the 2 Tone - Before, During & After fanzine.

I can't be the only person who assumed it was Rhoda until the revised sleeve was issued making it 100% clear it's not her. Not sure if I knew it wasn't before that. 

As for 'rather annoyed' I think that's a bit strong bearing in mind the album came out in 1980 long before the internet and being able to simply ask about it on Twitter. Rhoda was on the album, so it wouldn't have been beyond the realm of possibility that it might have been her on the sleeve. 

I guess you were rather annoyed at me when you didn't know me! ;-)

Congratulations on having the benefit of hindsight. And on being younger than many on here and having more resources to find stuff out we didn't have in 1980. The original album sleeve was blurred and showed a woman not quite in profile. The never editions use a different photo and it is clearly not Rhoda.
