On the face of it not an awful price if you got them for £312, but there's the 2 missing items you mentioned and Swinging Cats Away plastic label which I'm guessing is also pretty rare.
And then there's this: "
COVERS MAY HAVE STICKER MARKS LIGHT CREASES RINGWARE SLIGHT SIGNS OF AGE". Ok I can live with that on the company sleeves and earlier pic covers as I have those spare. I'd say the later, rarer post Ghost Town stuff is largely only worth getting in almost perfect condition. Anyone want to pay £10 for The Higsons with sticker marks? Thought not. Nelson Mandela or Racist Friend in the same state for a tenner each? Thought not. Me neither.
That said the seller has 100% feedback at risk on this transaction, so the items can't be that bad. Anything over the minimum bid price and a buyer might get a nasty surprise with what they receive, let alone what's missing.
So all in all the listing needs more photos, more details and a lot more care. If I wanted or needed to raise £300 on eBay in the next week I would try a little harder.
As for The Lambretta's record? To me that is worthless. It's a bit like all those rubbish comics which tried to be like Viz and that people list on eBay using the name Viz and adding the word 'like'. Yeah these comics were like Viz in that they were both made of paper. That's about where the similarity ends!
The Lambretta's thing wouldn't make up for The Friday Club 7" turning up with a surface tear from one of them pesky price stickers.
One last thing, I do not understand people mentioning ringwear. Have they never thought to remove it? It is usually possible with a light touch and a very soft pencil eraser. Obviously you check a tiny area to see if it will help your cover. Don't go blaming me if you knacker your sleeves. I've been using this method on thin paper bags (like the French ones) for years, with a good degree of success. It's only a little bit of 'contact inking' after all. As the ink sticks to the ringwear when it is dry it shouldn't necessarily be permanent.
This reminds me of that listing a couple of years ago which included 2,000 or so pin badges, which were meant to push the price up to a couple of thousand Dollars from memory.
