THE SPECIALS: They’re back and delighting fans across the country, but
how did the ska legends reunite after decades in the wilderness? With
the help of the key players, MOJO’s Danny Eccleston plots the return
of one of Britain’s greatest bands.

And the latest issue of Record Collector has a thing on Madness. Ska
is becoming a mainstay in the 'Classic Rock' magazine canon. So much
for the price of collectables going down...

Hi That issue of Record Collector also reviews the Fun Boy Three reissue
that came out recently (the debut album + bonus tracks on Cherry Pop through
Cherry Red). They give it 4 stars!

And it reviews the One Step Beyond... deluxe reissue which is released today
through Salvo. 30th Anniversary and all that. Well worth getting, not least
because it puts the Madness tracks from the Dance Craze album together on CD
for the first time.

Incidentally the Madness fan who is interviewed in Record Collector and
provided their rare Madness records guide is a friend of mine. He certainly
knows his stuff. They seriously edited his rarities article down, changed a
lot of the values and added in a load of mistakes just for good measure!

Cheers
