I know that many people are probably going to be against this one, but
here goes anyway:

The Ultimate Freedom: The right to decide when and how you die. Go
ahead tell me I'm crazy but at least were starting the debate. Keep
in mind that education is critical, we have to show people that along
with right to die comes a challenge to live your life the best way you
can, we teach our children that they need to live their lives for God
and Country, so that when they reach legal age they have already
commited themselves to a life with a purpose. Of course this right
will not extend to anyone under the age of 21. The right to die should
be aimed at the terminally ill, but will apply to people who feel like
they've done all they can, and are ready to meet their maker. As I
get older I fear nursing homes and the rising cost of healthcare, so I
want to decide when and how I go to God. I want to stop the suffering
that will come as my body decays, I don't want doctors to keep me
alive so they can milk the system for money. I want my death to be
noble and in a peaceful place. Let's debate!

I agree you and I should have the right to stay home in our own bed to
die.
I agree the "medical system" drains people of their money without
improving quality of life.

AND MOST OF ALL, anyone who is not willing to die for a cause is also
not able to live as he/she should. If there's nothing we're willing
to die for, then what are we living for ????

And scripture explains we overcome the bondage of fear of death
through our faith towards Jesus CHRIST and HIM crucified.
See Hebrews 2:15 Psalm 68:20 Judges 16:30 Psalm 56;13 John

I would love to go into an in depth discussion here but, I take it we
are NOT talking about taking two pills before bed and see a coroner in
the morning.

I recall my sister and I telling my mother to go out and travel amd
spend all her money because, if she got sick they would drain her of
every buck she had and then do what they could which wouldn't be that
much. They would just keep her alive long enough to take whatever
money she and my father had saved up.

She said, Oh no, your father said, we have to leave the children and
grandchildren something. Well, they ended up taking all she had but
her house, they can't do then, then they allowed her to die. BUT! She
was so ready to go that she glowed like gold. Such a woman of faith I
have yet to see.

Let me die and leave what little I have to my family. Healthcare
should be renamed to Deathcare.

this is not about a suicide pill or any other nonsense, but if your
old, or terminally ill or just tired of living, if you just want to
meet God, it is your right.

Thats another thing related to this post, I want to get rid of all
estate tax, inheritance tax, gift tax, etc. It's unnecessary and why
should we give to the govt what our parents and grandparents left for
us?

as in the netherlands a child at the age of 12 critically ill can take that big black pill!  this only opens a can of worms.  why do ppl. think  it is this generation who knows all and the past knew nothing of human nature?

I dont think that the previous generations are stupid or anything, but
we have a chance to make a major difference in the world. I would
never allow a 12 year old to have a suicide pill. We do have the
right to die, even if our Constitution doesn't say it. Why should I
suffer with a debilitating terminal illness, why couldn't I just
choose to die? What is so wrong with that?
