Leaders meeting Wednesday 19th September?

Hi everyone - hope you have had a great summer break and are ready for the countdown to Christmas 😉

Please let me know if you can attend a leaders meeting - for ALL leaders, not just section leaders, - on Wednesday 19th Sept, at the Lintot, at 8pm

There are lots of Leader movements/leavers coming up over the next few months, so any input on how that could be managed would be useful. If we cannot find a way through, we may have to close section(s).

Also, if would be useful to know if you are intending to move/step down from your position over the next year - I know several have already let me know, but a reconfirmation would be useful as personal circumstances change.

Hi Sue,

I assume you don’t really need me at this meeting?

I have just had a look in compass and my Canoe / Kayak permit runs out 31st May next year. I was intending to do next year but not continue after that based on the fact that I have decided to retire from Scouts in 2020 when I will hit 60.

Do you know if it is possible to get an extension for a few months to tie us over for the Summer or will I have to go through the renewal process? I have checked all the safeguarding and first aid etc is ok.
