Hi everyone

Please see attached the Information for Jamboree On The Air 2018.

This will be the 40^th anniversary of JOTA in Horsham.

Pete Head has been instrumental in organising this event throughout this time.

This is an event for members of all ages and can give opportunities to contact Scouts and others all around the world.

Whole Sections, small groups and individuals can attend – youth members can be encouraged to take their parents and other family members along to experience this unusual aspect of Scouting in the UK and wider afield.

 

GSLs & Explorer Leaders

Please ensure the attached information is distributed to all Section Leaders / Unit members and they understand this is an event that is offered ‘on a plate’.

Beavers, Cubs and Scouts will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Unaccompanied Explorer Scouts are very welcome.

 

Pete Head and his team look forward to seeing lots of members (experienced or just curious) over the weekend and are hoping for good conditions on the radio.

Anyone with a call sign can contact the team at 1^st Shipley on GB0HBS.

Attendance will contribute to delivering the balanced programme and may spark an interest for some of our members.
