Core Engineer (Ericssion) - Banglore

Position will be Engineer / Sr. Engineer, based in Bangalore, and
number of positions available presently is 01.

JD would be as follows: -
1. Have knowledge of Classical Core Network, MSS, Packet Core, C7
Networking etc.
2. Dimensioning of a Mobile Network considering both present and
future capacity demands and evaluate practical solutions.
3. Initiate and analyze Traffic measurements for the Radio Network, to
and fro MSC, and provide high quality, cost effective practical
solutions for the improvements.
4. Should have sound knowledge about the Mobile Network Architecture
and various topologies adopted by the Mobile Service Operators,
including the call Flows on the POI, and between the Core and Radio
Network Elements.
5. Should have an understanding of Traffic Handling, Call Routing &
various Signaling flows at different interfaces, and signaling
messages based routing techniques, and should understand the call
leakage possibilities and ensure 0% loss in traffic, Revenue and
Erlangs.
6. Will be required to analyze the existing Routing patterns in terms
of MSRN, GT, IN & SCCP Routing etc, for both On-Net and Off-Net
calls.
7. Should have knowledge on Traffic theory, and the factors affecting
the Capacity of the Network, and the various load balancing
techniques.
8. Will be required to undertake Network Performance Improvements, and
the procedures involved, Capacity Engineering and Optimization
methodologies, and should be adapt to working in a process oriented
environment.
9. Should have the ability to understand and analyze the field
measurement results without any supervision and to use them as
valuable input for analysis.
10. Will be required to do Capacity analysis and capacity forecasting
based on the limited inputs and trending of the measurement
parameters.
11. Do presentations and participate in technical discussions with
customers
12. Hands on experience on the Ericsson Systems would be an added
advantage.
