Dear Ones,
By now you already know how passionate I am about my art and using it for important causes. I am deeply reflect on the developments on the Why Art Document and the Social Action arm we are forming.
Most art for social causes arise form a need. But the case with 1Mandala is the reverse - (setting aside that oneness is a transcendent social cause) we are designing a social action addressing arts relief, poverty etc. because we saw it was important and found it also a good way to have a energized abundance process in a circular manner.
I guess I'm posing these thoughts out
How far are we willing to go with the social action? There are so many ways we can use art for social action. Like this one by Freedom to Create -

What are important causes 1Mandala would like to address? Because of the nature of what oneness is advocating it can also go as general and simple as random act of kidness, free hugs, and pay it forward or simple book donations and short art workshops, oneness picnics and celebration.
URI for example outlines its interfaith dialogue work into action areas because interfaith is such an abstract thing that it needs to be grounded into actions -

I continue to reflect on this as I also reflect on how deep I would go with 1Mandala with my own experience and practice to share in this work.
Thank you for listening.
your Kapwa,
Sarah
