The Team:

 

Nexus 3000/9000 software engineering team is part of Insieme BU, Bangalore. This team has full ownership of the product line and is a key part of Cisco’s Data Center strategy. As member of this

team you will get to work on different aspects of the platform software like L2/L3 forwarding and technologies like vPC, VxLAN, MPLS etc. In addition, there is also opportunity for BIOS, board

bring-up and device drivers. The candidate we are looking for must share a passion for tackling complex problems and take great pride in his/her software design and programming ability. Open

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience on L2 Protocols like STP/RSTP/LACP/CDP/TRILL etc. or Layer-3 Features like BGP,OSPF,HSRP,VRRP,PIM,VXLAN etc. is a plus.
  
• Experience working on merchant silicon / custom ASICs & associated drivers/SDK is a plus.
  
• Expertise in linux system programming and concepts of DMA, I/O management, interrupts, bus architectures like PCIe, i2c is a plus.
  
• Proficiency in Linux kernel is a plus.
