To our M & M Families
I hope this email finds everyone doing well and staying safe. We appreciate your patience and understanding during the stay-at-home order and mandatory closure.
I know we had expressed the willingness to provide some type of summer programming if the conditions allowed. But this task has proven to be more difficult than we had anticipated. Unfortunately, we will not be providing a summer program this year.
Our plan is to re-open in the fall when school resumes. We will need to adopt the necessary new systems and procedures--which will take time to implement and train our team. The good news is that because of this time off, we have been able to acquire a new program management software solution.
In the coming weeks, you will receive communication from us regarding this change. If you would like to explore the program and its features, feel free to visit: https://mybrightwheel.com/solutions/parents/
Once we have our systems in place, we will open-up registration for the fall – our target date is Monday, July 6th. Be sure to read all email communications from us so that you can stay informed.
Rest assured that the new systems we put into place will include best practices for a safe return. The State of Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) has provided this guidance. “Child Care providers across the state have always prioritized the health and safety of the children in our care. With the spread of COVID-19, new health and safety protocols are necessary to ensure children, families and staff members are as safe as possible.” We will continue to follow these practices and monitor the guidelines and updates based on best knowledge and changing conditions.
Thank you again for your patience and support. I cannot express in words how much you are appreciated. Please continue to stay well and stay safe!
Sincerely,
Madonna Mrocca
