Gaurav Singh has started a discussion: JEC Placements - A sincere request to all alumni "Hi All, The placement season at JEC is about to begin from next month. As you all might be knowing, placement stats at JEC are really pathetic with TCS as sole major recruiter almost every year. Core companies are not visiting college and those visiting select in single digits. So many bright students each year are left without jobs. This year college have formed a student body headed by professors for contacting with HRs/Decision making authorities from companies and invite them to college for recruitment. If companies don't want to recruit we would be happy organizing a small interaction session with students. Our alumni are spread across the globe and are leaders in all major fields of research, innovations and management. On behalf of college, I request you all to help us getting connected with people responsible for recruitment at companies and SME. If you can help us getting an appointment for a small ppt presentation at company HQ about 'JEC and strengths' that would be much appreciated. College administration wants to put serious efforts to change situations this year. Please help us to make this dream true as without your help it won't be possible at all.
