1. American Engineer in California - touches high-tension electric wire. His assistant is an Indian Engineer. 90% burns. They drag the unconscious guy to hospital. The Assistant Engineer and 4 other American electrical workers for 4 hours continuously chant this Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra. The doctors have given up hope since the burns are too much. The guy recovers.

2. Young Indian Engineer.  He is a native of Orissa. Suddenly has acute pain in the stomach and surrounding areas. Unable to stand. Told he is likely having a malignant condition. Emergency operation to remove tumor that had remained undetected for long. Someone slips the mantra to him on a piece of paper. Clutches it. In the ICU, under local anaesthesia he recites this over and over again. No relatives around. And lives to tell the tale.

3. Year 2007 - My own direct experience when associated with a large client.  A bus on our OMR road hits our  employee (NAIR BOY FROM KERALA) working in the BPO. Direct hit on the head. HR lady  rushes him to LIFELINE HOSPITAL ON OMR.  I am sitting next to the HR person, didn't know all this  and ask her why she is late to the office. She tells me there has been an accident
4. I grab the phone and ask her to tell who is the next of kith and kin that  is in the hospital. The boy's sister has rushed from Adyar to Frontline Hospital.
Over phone, I tell the sister and her husband this mantra. I spelt it out for them.
I ask them to recite sitting in front of the ICU. For several days they do this.
SOME MONTHS LATER.
A guy with a huge swelling on his head comes to my desk. Specs, sports a big smile. I say 'Hello' wondering why his head was bloated.
He says ' I am Nandakumar. I was hit by the bus 2 months ago, you know. My sister and my b-i-l KEPT reciting the mantra till I was in the ICU'
My sister says the mantra kept her faith going and the energy and the strength to believe I would recover from the hopeless situation. If I am standing here before you Swami, its thank to you for having taught her the Mantra. After I got discharged, she said I should first come and thank since she can't come inside the office.
( HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN RECOVER IF A BUS DIRECTLY HITS A GUY IN THE HEAD?).

For the first time in a long time, my eyes moisten. Oh, you can't be tough and professional ( or at least think u r professional)  all the while as a Quality guy. I hug the guy and say, its not me, but Lord Shiva or whoever his God was, that made me pick up the phone on an impulse and tell his sister, total strangers as they were about the Mantra.I told him I was half-expecting his sister to scream at me then. I tell him I am not overly spiritual so there must have been a miracle ( now of course, I believe in the Mantra EVEN MORE)...
And he got a promotion last year, I heard......

So folks, remember this. In critical, near-death situations, this Mantra will protect you. It cannot give you immortality. But if you are destined to recover on that occasion, the Mantra will occur to you or your people or someone will come and recite that. And if they or you get to recite, you will recover.

I will give 2 more direct experiences tomorrow.

regards
Swami
