Pike Bennett and her husband, Todd Schaffer
Dear SHS Friends & Classmates --
Please join
us for dinner as we celebrate not only the holiday season, but also 30 plus
years of fun and friendship! As time goes on, I am more and more grateful for
the blessing of having lived in Atlanta my entire life and the long-term
relationships that have developed as a result. I meet very few people who enjoy
the special bond that we all share, and I can think of no better way to kick off
the holiday season than to be with all of you!

Todd and I, together with Angie
and a few others, will provide the entrees (roast pork, tri-tip, and flank
steak), and will be asking our guests to bring either an appetizer, side dish or
dessert. We also ask that you bring your own bottle and a small donation to
offset the cost of plates, napkins, soft drinks, etc. Once the RSVP's come in,
we'll get back to you with specifics.
This is an ADULT ONLY party. We ask
that you make arrangements for childcare in your own home.
Yes, we are
completely aware that this is the SEC championship playoff evening. For those of
you wanting to see parts of the game, there is a media room for your viewing
pleasure and several televisions throughout the house. ***NOTE TO CHIP BRIGHT,
no need to bring a TV and satellite dish;).
We are delighted to be able
to celebrate the Season with friends and family in our home and hope you are all

Hey
everyone,
our 1976 classmate, Dan Manning, and The Wheels will be
performing LIVE at The Cave in Kennesaw on Friday night, December 11. The show
starts at 9:30 p.m. with reserved seating available for SHS
classmates.
The Cave is located near the Publix Shopping Center at the
intersection of Old 41 and Barrett Parkway. These venues share the same parking
lot.

Non-smoking facility
Extensive (and impressive) wine
menu
Great food
Always accommodating
This will be my last event to
attend in Marietta before I relocate back to Scottsdale, AZ on 12/20. Please
stop in to say goodbye. I have enjoyed my time here over the past five months
partying with you all and hope you enjoyed the monthly activities that were
planned.
Just because I am not going to be in the area doesn't mean
that I or any other classmate will not be coordinating activities for you all to
enjoy and participate in. We have a healthy momentum going for our monthly
dinner gatherings so let's continue.
My 76 classmate, Cindy
Patterson Cole, will be the local coordinator once I leave. She will be
collaborating with 77 classmate, Joy Cardell Carlisle, to insure that the
monthly dinner gatherings continue. You need to provide them with your
support!
78 classmates, Kelley Blevins Winslett and Tami Little
Smith, will be the cheerleaders for their respective classmates so watch out for
their words of encouragement to attend these fun
evenings/gatherings.
Thanks for making the past five months a wonderful
experience for us all. I hope you will join us at The Cave on Friday, December
11 to see Dan and The Wheels perform.
For those of you not
participating on facebook, please consider doing so as many of us have left classmates.com and joined fb. What a great utility to
stay connected! Plus, it does not cost anything to join.
Hope life is treating
you all well.
Warmest regards,
