Dear Fabrizio,
Could you please replace the poem I submitted yesterday with this one.
FINAL VERSION:
WINTER
I am wading knee deep in snow
Frostbitten and blizzard blinded
I inhale, exhale home
To familiar solitary lifelessness
Death, an uninvited guest has long left
Emptiness
Winter, I exist
In a whiteout of profound loneliness
Sad wolves are howling in the walls
And my soul wails mournfully
Winter, my heart is knee deep in snow
Somewhere frozen in a glacial drift
A cold tempest blows into the abyss
There is no sign of the sun
Or where the snow will end
Winter, sadness is knee deep in snow
While I drown in your drift
Crushed with ice and shrouded
With hailstones in my heart
