For the best cityscapes to admire
Visit Athens in winter
The winter sun comes in whispers
The snow swings by and tucks in lovingly the chestnut trees
So surely will I love this season
As surely as the tide rolls in
Weaving in and out of Plaka's alleys
The snow falls on my shoulders
The heaving winds, whispering silvering chimes
Of faded sorries and maybes
A euphoric parade of evanescent promises
My memoirs at a psychological impasse
