Hey guys, 

Remember how we were discussing the branchial cysts the other day, and I'll had was that branchial mean gills? 

Well now I'm 90% sure that the branchial cysts are the cysts Galani mentioned in this lecture which results from a persistent 2nd,3rd,and 4th ectodermal groove. 

They not only show up in the same place, and in fish those grooves become the gills, but then I found this website: http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/382803-overview

Anyways, feel free to debate if you think you figured out something else, but I'm gonna go with it and just wanted to let you all know.

I figured the same thing. Is it correct to state that pharyngeal cysts = to branchial cysts from those persistent grooves?
