Hello,

I've now played 1812 twice and I have the following questions based on
v13 of the rules:

1. Does the bonus for the Hull Docks Company apply to passenger trains
that end their route at Hull city, or just to goods trains that end
their route at Hull docks?

2. When a major or minor company owns a private company, does the
major/minor company receive the private company's standard income into
its company treasury at the start of each operating round?

3. Can a 3+1 train (for example) start or end its route at a small
city?

4. The rules state that at a merger, the director of the merged
company can replace up to 2 station markers of the merging companies
with those of the merged company. Is this action free or does the
director pay the standard cost (£20 x number of hexes) for the second
station marker?

Great game BTW, I really enjoy this one.

Thanks,
Ian

The bonus is for Hull city, so it applies to all trains that count Hull as a city on their run.

Yes.

Yes.

This action is free. BTW, the new company must replace exactly two tokens (if possible).

Glad you like it. Here's a question for you: did you run short of any tiles in your games?

Cheers,

No, the published tileset was quite sufficient in both the games that
I've played.

Thanks for the very prompt reply,
Ian
