I would tend to agree with that. We alternate our direct mail advertising
regardless of list.
With any advertising, do a small sample test in the market to see what kind
of response you get.
Mail to the exact same names with a personal piece and then a branded
(1-800-SELL-NOW) piece.
On the personal piece you can still use the same 1-800 number
(1-800-735-5669) but monitor your results and then based on the results,
exploit the better of the two.
