Without doubt
Out of
the primordial
mist a thousand of eyes
are looking at us in an odd way
measuring our life in retrospective
counting all our mistakes
and
in one afternoon
streaky shadows
condemning us to the judgment
of water:
Only the one who would drown is
innocent!
Without
doubt
one hears the anxiety.
Somebody pulls the bolt of the days.
Someone smiles like a child among the shadows
strong enough to survive
the fear carries it within itself.
One doesn’t run looking for another homeland.
Somebody has forgotten to laugh
reckoning everyone is guilty.
Someone swims against the current.
Somebody retouches reality
to keep us floating like a raft
sailing on water that will sink us.
Someone forces
us to
secrecy
and our mouth is a wound closed on words.
You get laid
where you’re fast asleep
and around your nest
are awaiting those who will be born
avaricious at your death
like claws of prey.
Somebody empties the
content of life.
You’re saving someone by
loving him.
