Valentine's Day

Doris and I met with Joy Nakayama at the dojo on Wednesday to ask them to consider hosting a party on Valentine’s Day. They have declined due to their concern to protect the mat from spilled food. They also do not allow shoes on the mat. They are otherwise very positive about the building. I’m not sure where we go from here, since the McHugh parking lot is not a good option in February. :>)

We'll check out The Bureau which is just around the corner on 16th, doesn't serve food, and maybe would welcome a Valentines Day event if they haven't planned one.
