Till Then...
Settlements between the states are always welcome.
we can wait for your issues to get resolved.
Till then, we'll cry and beg you to leave us free.
Till then, we'll eat whatever when we're hungry.
Till then, we'll see our family members dying ruthlessly.
Till then, we'll bare the touch of an unknown man.
And might make home in some other land.
Running away & keeping ourselves safe from those monsters,
to a place, which certainly doesn't want us.
Minorities we are, how can we dare to cleanse the majorities?
But we'll never make a group and attack you during your meeting.
We are not wolves disguised as humans.
Till then, we'll somehow try to survive 'cause we are still innocent.

Hi everyone.. Congratulations for the recent published anthology.. It feels great working with such amazing poets! Thank you everyone..
This is my poem (unpublished) for the current anthology. I've written this poem from the perspective of Rohingya people. Knowing there is more than what we actually see and read about them, I've tried to bring up a little of their condition through this poem. I hope this does justice to their part...
