No colors

So you judge me by my appearance
You make me feel my ideas are irrelevant
You snap your fingers and wave me away without a blink

But look around and you will see
Reality is like a ship on the sea
Are you it's captain?
Maybe I'm just a member in the crew
So you feel you can be so cruel?

The sun shining on your skin
It shines on mine too
You hear the rain pattering on your roof?
Oh yes! It hits on mine too

So you think your skin is different from mine?
Does that change the fact we both breath to stay alive?
Does that mean any of us is incomplete?
Does that mean we must steadily compete?

One thing for certain, we live to die
Someday both our skeletons might be facing the sky
But none will be able to tell which is black or white
He said in his image, but never black or white

It's time for us to start living as a people
And never as colors.
