See this shadow in the sky?
Hear the moaning of the women?
Feel the heartbeats going faster?
As the buildings are falling down.
Flesh is rotting, bones are decomposing,
Names are vanishing in the memory of their past loved ones.
There's the ruins of a theme park and a clock that stopped ticking,
Where the only time unit is the sound of the steps of lines of armed men.
They are marching at one single pace,
Stopped in front of a holy place,
Through the window, shot down
Dozens of men with their foreheads on the ground.
And laughters echoed,
And tears wet the soil,
And a scream split the sky in half,
"Dear Lord, take me now."
-A woman to her husband,
Seeing the scene from afar,
Her daughter holding her hand,
Wiping tears off her eyes.
See this shadow in the sky?
Hear the moaning of the women?
Feel the heartbeats going faster?
As the buildings are falling down.
