Here is my submission "Cleansing" for the new project "Homo Homini Lupus" and my biography.

-the poem is unpublished.

my best wishes for the project :)

Cleansing

I was born only to learn I don’t belong

to this nor that part of the world.

I lost my home and my homies first

then my childhood and chastity to their lust.

In this long walk in search of a land, I can call mine,

I lost my starved toddler to an undeclared famine,

buried an ill-fated stillborn somewhere along the fertile ravine.

Here I am,

soaked waist-deep in muddy creek, no boat of humanity in view

head drenched in torrential rain, flooding the news.

Every bit of earth runs through my premature creases

and you say it doesn't belong to me, rationality ceases.

massacre, demolition, tyranny, gluttony, apathy, intolerance

such dirty acts throughout the history and the intellectual race

calls it cleansing.

Srijana KC Rayamajhi, Nepal

I was  born in 1990, in Kathmandu.  I have  two siblings. My father being  in  Nepal  army, I went  to the  army school. I am  a  doctor by  profession. I write  both to express  myself  and for my love  for Art  and Creativity.  Besides  I like painting,  reading books, visiting  places,  trekking  at  times.  Yet, sleeping  is  what  I'd like  the  most,  if only I could.. I try to listen to Buddha's  words  and therefore  pursue  peace  since  childhood. My name Srijana, in Nepali,  means  ‘Creation’. My poems are 'born of heart', Manasija. My poems are 'born of mind', Manoj.
