About Too Many Deaths

The pierced death of an accomplished archer
When empty becomes the quiver
Amidst the live-or-die war,
You may never know
For you left me earlier
Taking away most of my arrows.

The parched end of the last man in the caravan
When completely dries out
The only pool on the desert route,
You may never realize
For you left me aimless
Taking away my only oasis.

The withering away of an abandoned poet
Slowly and steadily
Spurned and mocked by the world,
You may see again and again
For I write limitlessly
Though you took away all my existence.
