Hello Trustees,

We are trying to work around the best way to inform residents about past due payments.

There is a “payments reminder” option in TownSq business, but it isn’t a great option because:

  1. It sends to everyone regardless of balance or automatic payments
  2. It doesn't tell you when the last one was sent or who sent it
  3. you can't see who it actually went to
  4. Owners will need to go into their profile settings and enable us to send them emails about their account (different than the other notification settings)
  5. Does not have a mail option- just email to those who turn it on

The better option if you wanted to do this is just to use the Announcements feature and send a generic notice about payments being due. But again, that doesn’t have a mail option- just email.

Another option we can do is run statements out of C3 and the PA can mail those out but that comes at an additional fee for paper and stamps.

Best Regards,

Shannon Wanger

Thanks so much Shannon,

This is a good beginning but a little confusing. So a payments reminder seems to fit the bill but what do you mean it sends it to everyone? It sends my payment reminder email to other units?

I have a thought. I’m out of town again starting next Monday. How about you set up a meeting for me sometime in October with your Town Square wizard. If he or she know that I’m looking for a system to send out monthly reminder emails (paper is not the focus of this) then we can make short work of it.

Would that be okay?

Thanks,

Amy

PS. We still need to get 100% engagement with Town Square.
