Hello everyone,
I talked with the lead Criterium guy (his name?) just as he was completing his tour of roof 3, which had the large ponding of water after significant rainstorms. He agrees that the ponding is not solely due to tree leaf debris clogging the drain, and that
the pitch of the roof to the drain is not quite right. There is one more instrument he wants to apply to his analysis before writing his report. Shannon was part of the conversation and will need to accommodate one more #3 roof visit. There is apparently
a fix to the problem that doesn’t involve ripping up the new roof.
While waiting for the Criterium visitors to complete their work on Roof 3, Shannon told me that there was a large pow-pow at TDG about whether a member of TDG major projects team should be here this morning in addition to/or instead of Shannon. They all begged
off with 'more important tasks'—and sent Shannon. She asked whether I could tell Mike M. Etc. that the SPA trustees ‘were not pleased’ ; I said ‘of course you can’.
As Amy related from her recent conversation with Lauren Lima, TDG now expects that we will drop them as our management team. Their behavior this morning confirms this conclusion. We shouldn’t prove them wrong. Even so, It would be nice to hold Matt Page
to his promise to complete our security system upgrade ‘before the end of 2025’. Amy, do you have a diagram showing our perimeter basement walls? I’d like to add my survey of the status of all of our outer doors to that diagram, and then get in touch with
Matt to push. Thanks, Michael
